I want to personally thank God for letting me serve as your President
of this great Club for the past three years. I remember first being elected in November of 2003. Since that time we have
all seen a lot of great things accomplished.
Some of the most important recent accomplishments was Our
Club being a major REPUBLICAN force in Broward County and was THE county leader during the Charlie Crist for Governor
campaign with production of volunteer work on the campaign. The Broward Republican Executive Committee (BREC) opened
their first ever Regional office in Coral Springs for our campaign cycle in 2006, manned by members of our great club.
Your club leadership took the lead in our region during the Crist campaign. Your club President served as the lead Co-Chairman
of the Charlie Crist campaign in the N.W. Broward Region and coordinated seven cities in the region and all volunteers and
voting sites as well as the weekly regional phone banking. Timothy D. Lucero was the Coral Springs Charlie Crist Chairman.
We have supported all Republicans running for various national, state and local elections. It was a great working together
as a team with fellow Republicans to get our new Governor Charlie Crist elected. The hard work paid off and Charlie
Crist was elected Governor of Florida on November 7, 2006.
Charlie Crist received
a lot of Independent and cross-over votes. This was a great victory for the State of Florida, Broward County, Coral Springs-Parkland
and especially for all the volunteers who worked so hard and all the members of our Club who voted for Charlie Crist.
We are a club that has seen
what our Country needs and have acted by getting involved and voting for what we believe and how you want your Goverment run
by strong leaders such as Our President and Vice-President and our new Republican Governor Charlie Crist. With Presidents
like Lincoln, Reagan and Bush and Governors like Charlie Crist & Jeb Bush we are a blessed Nation and a blessed State
under God. We should be proud of our heritage and shall always defend our rights and values as one Nation under God. I will
continue to ask God’s blessings for you and your family and especially for our Club that it may grow and prosper in
unity with God at its Helm as we look to the municipal elections in 2007 and gear up for the national and state elections
in 2008!
